Martha (“Marty”) Coale, MD, is the Medical Director and Co-Owner of Skin & Tonics, bringing a unique blend of expertise, passion, and dedication to the field of aesthetics and skin rejuvenation. Her journey into the world of skin health began 10 years ago when she sought treatment from Amy for hair removal, melasma, and sun damage. Inspired by her experience with laser treatments and the transformative results of a skincare regimen, she became a firm believer in the power of Retinoids and sun protection; and sparked the idea of creating a local business in Vancouver, where she could combine her medical expertise with her newfound passion for aesthetics. Dr. Coale is very visual and was surprised at how the precision of her work as a Radiologist prepared her for facial balancing.

Dr. Coale is a licensed physician in Washington and Oregon, with a 15-year career in Diagnostic Imaging. Her specializations included women’s imaging (ultrasound, mammography, and related procedures) and emergency imaging (CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and X-rays). After stepping away from clinical practice to focus on her daughters during their high school years, she embraced a new chapter by pursuing her passion for aesthetic medicine and skin rejuvenation.

The most rewarding part of her work is helping patients address small imperfections that impact their confidence and self-esteem. She excels in using dermal fillers, biostimulators, and neurotoxins to create individualized facial balancing by treatments that achieve remarkable results with minimal downtime. Her approach prioritizes each patient’s unique goals and needs.
